HOLDINGDINE S.A. is an industrial and commercial corporation created in 2000 as a joint stock company, under Article 429 of the Companies Act, to manage as a corporation the companies of the Army Industries Authority [Dirección de Industrias del Ejército or DINE in Spanish], attached to the Land Forces, and to configure a business group.

Ten years later, following the transfer of all the shares of the Army Industries Authority within HOLDINGDINE S.A. to the Armed Forces Social Security Institute (ISSFA for its initials in Spanish), a fundamental legal and business shift took place in the concept of the organization. New strategic objectives were set for both the corporation and the companies comprising the business group without changing their legal status or line of business in any way.

The current legal and business set-up arising from the ISSFA being the new and only shareholder of the corporation and, consequently, of its subsidiaries brings with it a priority goal, in addition to the corporation’s original aims, namely “To help bolster the equity of the Armed Forces Social Security Institute, so that it can better achieve its institutional goals”.
