The growth in the construction sector in Ecuador –at the end of the sixties-, was in its peak and demanded good quality steel, therefore the ACERIAS NACIONALES DEL ECUADOR S.A. ANDEC was created on October 19th, 1969; the company installed the first Ecuadorian laminating plant, to supply these materials to the local market. |
